For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners Christ died for us.
Love created a pathway back to God. It was because God loved us so much that He gave us what He did not give to the angels that came before us. Fallen angels don't have a way back to God. God in His love gave us that which was most valuable to Him. He gave us His son Jesus Christ. Jesus is the bridge that leads us back to God. The first Adam destroyed the bridge, but the second Adam (Jesus Christ) restored it.
Love is a beautiful thing. God is love. We should spread it around as much as we can.
