Don't Be Deceived

This is what the world continues to tell us as it stands outside of our gates ready to overtake us. It tells us that our God is a big lie. “He can’t save you from me.” That is what the world says every time we are discouraged and burdened or at the end of our rope.

                               *****STOP*****
         THIS IS A TEST……THIS IS ONLY A TEST…..

Don’t be fooled. This is just what the enemy wants you to believe. He wants you to live a defeated life thinking you are all by yourself. God, on the other hand, wants you to be bold and courageous. Know that if you trust, believe and pray, He always has your back. God will send the enemy away in shame.

That is exactly what He did to Sennacherib, King of Assyria in II Chronicles 32.

Sennacherib taunted and mocked the people of Judah who were at Jerusalem. He said that Hezekiah, King of Judah, was deceiving the people. He painted a picture of God as a weak false god. He placed God in the same category as that of other generic gods. He built himself up as an indestructible force. He created the perfect storm for God to move.

The Bible says that King Hezekiah and Isaiah the prophet prayed and cried out to heaven. The Lord then destroyed every mighty warrior, commander and officer in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned in shame to his own land.

If you stay out of it when people mock your God and cry out to Him, He will take care of the mockers and true deceivers. God has a hair trigger and an itchy trigger finger that can’t wait to defend you if you will only cry out to Him.

God bless you.
